Juveniles attending the Worthington Cup game on 21st August will be able to pay on the turnstiles, meaning that queueing for tickets beforehand will not be necessary, according to the ticket office.

Bradford City

Tickets for the game at Valley Parade on Sunday September 2 will be going on sale on August 20 for priority sales and from August 27 on general sale. The club has been given an initial allocation of 3588 tickets. The season ticket stub required is voucher C. The price for this game is �19 for adults and �11 for concessions.
CLARET AND BLUES MEMBERS WHO WISH TO PRE-BOOK SHOULD PASS VOUCHER 'C' ALONG WITH FULL PAYMENT FOR THEIR TICKET AND TRAVEL (ie �24 or �16) TO STEVE OR IAN BY 19TH AT LATEST. Steve and Ian will be available on the first floor of the KSC 110 Club, between 1pm and 2:15pm on Saturday 18th, prior to the Wimbledon game.
Please note that despite the Sunday kick-off at 3.00pm, this game is not being televised.

General Meeting

Claret & Blues supporters club have arranged a general meeting at the Bull and Butcher, Manchester Road, Burnley on Thursday 23rd August to welcome new members and to collect subscriptions from existing members. There will be a presentation about the supporters club, analysis of funding for last season, plus we are hoping for a special guest from the football club. Everyone is welcome and the landlord will be charging 'happy hour' prices to anyone in a Burnley Shirt on the night!

Turf Moor Open Day

Burnley Football Club have arranged an Open Day for supporters on Saturday July 21st, beginning at 9am
through to 3pm. There will be the opportunity to watch the team train before setting off to the Isle of Man for the
Steam Packet International Football Festival. Burnley Clarets Supporters Club hopes to be there, distributing
leaflets to encourage prospective members to join us. Any volunteers to help, e-mail us now please...

Meet the Board

Your representative, as sanctioned at the recent meeting at the Bull & Butcher advised the Chairman (Barry Kilby) and the Chief Executive (Andrew Watson) of the following matters:
1. Winning numbers from the Golden Gamble draw could be announced at the end of the match, as well as during half time, enabling spectators who missed it the first time to check their Golden Gamble ticket numbers.
2. The announcer could introduce Bertie Bee with “lets get ready to bumble…” instead of the current “lets get ready to rumble…”

Of all the votes cast in the recent members’ poll, the results were as follows:
Paul Weller 42.9%
Ian Cox 28.6%

Our supporters club trophy was duly presented at Turf Moor, to Paul Weller. Tony Cockram had the pleasure of presenting the award, as he was the winner of the members’ draw.   Photographs taken at the event show Tony with Paul and our trophy. Burnley Express have photos on show and for sale.
